Arizona employers would not be required to buy medical marijuana for injured workers under a bill passed by the House of Representatives last week.
House Bill 2346, by Rep. Karen Fann, R-Prescott, would add statutory language declaring the state's medical marijuana laws do no obligate "a workers' compensation carrier or self-insured employer providing workers' compensation benefits" to reimburse a person for the costs associated with medical use of marijuana.
