Change in Coverage Requirements for Work Experience Students Going to Gov.

A bill that would eliminate the requirement for Idaho’s post-secondary schools to provide workers’ compensation coverage for work experience students covered by an employer’s policy is heading to the desk of Gov. Butch Otter. Senate President Pro Tempore Brent Hill, R-Rexburg, on Thursday signed off on House Bill 366, by the House Education Committee, in the last move before the bill was sent to the governor.
