The hipster-inspired clothing store Forever 21 in Hartford, Connecticut, was cited with three repeated safety violations due to obstructing emergency exit routes, according to a release from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
The fashion chain’s store in the Westfarms Mall was visited last November, where OSHA inspectors found inventory boxes unsafely stacked as high as 10 feet and placed in front of fire exits leaving only 23 inches of passable space. The inspection came around the time of the Black Friday holiday shopping frenzy.
