The Montana Department of Labor and Industry is proposing to revise rules governing medical treatment guidelines to facilitate easier updates in the future.
The department’s guidelines are based on those used in Colorado’s workers’ compensation system. And the department said in a rule-making notice that the proposed changes would adopt recent changes made in Colorado and allow Montana to more easily adopt Colorado’s updates in the future.
