OSHA Proposes $192K in Fines Following Finger Amputation

A wood pallet manufacturer in Columbus, Ohio, is facing proposed federal penalties of $191,794 after a worker suffered a finger amputation. Buckeye Diamond Logistics Inc., which operates as BDL Supply, was cited Sept. 10 by the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration. The company has 15 business days to contest the citations, which include two repeated and four serious violations.
