The Nebraska Workers' Compensation Court will hold a public hearing on Dec. 17 to discuss proposed changes to rules for electronic filings, medical fee schedules, vocational rehabilitation matters and lump-sum settlements.
According to a bulletin from the court, the rule changes would:
Establish sanctions if attorneys fail to register and maintain correct contact information for the e-filing system.
Adopt a new fee schedule for medical, surgical and hospital services.
Establish new billing codes.
Revise requirements on vocational rehab reporting.
