On Jan. 1, the amount of money that must be spent on a workers' compensation hospital bill for the injury to be considered catastrophic and high-cost will rise 4.87%, according to an official notice posted in Monday's Minnesota State Register.
The amount will rise from $175,000 to $183,523.
