A Texas appellate court ruled that a worker failed to state a viable claim against an independent contractor for failing to provide him with a safe work environment. Case: Sanchez v. Precision Drilling Co. LP, No. 01-17-00913-CV, 08/20/2019, published. Facts: COG Operating LLC hired the Precision Drilling Co. to drill several oil and gas wells.
