A measure originally intended to adjust Virginia’s provider reimbursement scheme apparently won’t accomplish that this year. But if enacted, House Bill 1820 would bring stakeholders together for discussion and possibly bring the state a step closer to enacting a fee schedule.
An amended version of HB 1820, introduced by state Delegate Peter Farrell, passed Virginia’s full Senate Wednesday 39-0. The measure now heads back to the House of Delegates, where it looks markedly different from the bill that Farrell, R-Henrico, first introduced.
