Virginia Expanding toward EDI Release 3

The Virginia Workers' Compensation Commission announced it is broadening its system for electronic data interchange (EDI) filings to adapt to the EDI Claims Release 3 standards and forms established by the International Association of Industrial Accident Boards and Commissions (IAIABC). The commission said this week it is currently reviewing five proposals from vendors to help launch its Technological Alignment Program (TAP).
