Meth Labs a Growing Work Comp, Safety Issue

Methamphetamine labs are apparently causing a workers' compensation problem for enforcement agencies whose jobs are to shut down the illegal operations. Chemical fumes created during the cooking of a batch of methamphetamine are so volatile that local, state and federal officers in California, Arizona, Texas and Florida (the four primary states where the illegal activity is at its highest) involved in seizing the labs have been directed to file a first report of injury for potential workers compensation medical care.
