WCB, Medical Service Review Committee Holding Joint Meeting

The Alaska Workers’ Compensation Board and the Medical Services Review Committee will hold a special joint meeting to discuss the state’s medical fee schedule. The Medical Services Review Committee met with system users over the last three months to discuss and formulate recommendations for the medical fee schedule that will go into effect for calendar year 2020. The committee advises the board on issues including fee schedule reimbursement rates as well as the appropriateness and necessity of various services provided to injured workers.
