Liverpool Doctor Reinstated to SWCB List

The New York State Workers' Compensation Board (SWCB) has lifted the suspension imposed Nov. 18 on the authorization by Liverpool, N.Y., physician Dr. Bruce N. Silverstein to treat injured workers.The board had suspended Silverstein's authorization for a year effective Nov. 18. But it said in a notice issued Dec. 31 that the suspension has been withdrawn in its entirety, meaning he was allowed to treat injured workers without interruption.SWCB said medical reports submitted by Silverstein for treatment rendered on or after Nov. 18 are to be considered valid.Questions can be directed to...
