The New Mexico Workers' Compensation Advisory Council will discuss the appointment of members to fill vacancies on the Independent Medical Examiner Selection Committee and a draft of proposed council by-laws during a meeting in Albuquerque on Sept. 14.
According to minutes of the council's July 9 meeting, two vacancies on the selection committee need to be filled before its next meeting in December. Member Don Stock is stepping down after 10 years as chairman of the committee, while member Jeep Gilliland, a labor representative, is up for reappointment.
