A judge has reduced a $240 million disability discrimination verdict to $1.6 million for 32 mentally-disabled workers who were abused by their employer.Judge Charles Wolle, of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Iowa, reduced the verdict to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act, which caps damages at $50,000 per employee for businesses with fewer than 101 workers.
