Prosecutors: Fatal Accident Exposes Alleged Payroll Fraud Scheme

The Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office said a fatal truck accident exposed a $460,000 fraud scheme involving the owner of a San Jose roofing company. In June 2020, four employees in two CD All Roofing company trucks were returning from a job site when the tire on one of the trucks blew out, causing an accident that ejected one of the workers from the vehicle.
