A Texas appellate court overturned a denial of a mechanic’s claim for injuries from a car accident that occurred as he was driving to his employer’s shop to check some equipment for his employer.
Duane Cook was a mechanic with Doc's Reverse Units, an oil field fishing and rental tools company. Doc's issued Cook a company-owned truck for trips to and from Doc's yard and other sites as part of his employment.
