Mass. Work Comp Defense Lawyer Nominated as Judge

Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick announced he has nominated Northborough, Mass., workers' compensation defense lawyer Dennis M. Maher to become an administrative law judge serving on the state Industrial Accident Board.Maher works as counsel in the law firm of Black & Bynoe and previously worked in the home office of Liberty Mutual, Patrick said in a release.The board presides over administrative hearings involving workers' compensation claims.Maher is a 1989 graduate of Suffolk University Law School and received his Bachelor of Arts Degree at Framingham State College in 1975.
