Tom Rankin Reappointed to State Fund Board of Directors

Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon has reappointed former labor leader Tom Rankin to the board of directors of State Compensation Insurance Fund for a term that runs from Jan. 1, 2017, to Jan. 1, 2022, State Fund said in a press release. Rankin has served on the State Fund board since 2009. Rankin is a former president of the California Labor Federation, AFL-CIO; a former executive director of Worksafe; and currently serves as vice president for the California Alliance for Retired Americans.
