Eileen Auen Joins MedRisk Board of Directors

Health care consulting firm founder Eileen Auen joined the board of directors for MedRisk.

Auen is the founder of Deep Run Consulting LLC and the former executive chairwoman of workers’ compensation ancillary benefits company Helios, which was formed by the merger of PMSI Inc. and Progressive Medical.

She served as chairwoman and CEO of PMSI from 2008 until the merger with Progressive in 2013.

Before that, Auen was the head of health care management for Aetna and CEO of APS Healthcare Inc.

Her 25-year career includes leadership positions with Riscorp, Cigna and its subsidiary Intracorp, MedRisk said.

Auen holds a Master of Business Administration from Darden Graduate School of Business at the University of Virginia. She earned her bachelor’s in economics and finance from Towson University in Towson, Maryland.

Auen joined the MedRisk board effective Monday.
