New Forms for Updated Claimants' Rates Now Available

New forms that reflect updated claimants' rates are now available at the Vermont Department of Labor's website, the department announced this week. 

Forms 28 and 28A should be used to update rates starting July 1, the department said. Both forms can be downloaded from the site, and users are encouraged to make copies as needed.

The forms should be filed with the department before Friday, and copies should be sent to the injured workers or dependents.

The new maximum rate for injuries sustained after June 30, 1986, is $1,311, up from $1,281. The new maximum for injuries prior to that date is $874, up from $854. The minimum for all cases is $437, up from $427, the department's website shows.
