A two-day seminar in Los Angeles next month will tackle the topic of medical leave in California, taking a look at the interaction of federal and state leave laws as well as workers’ compensation.
The seminar, offered by Research and Markets, will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Jan. 26, and from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Jan. 27. The location has not yet been announced.
The seminar will include an overview of California-specific leave laws and programs such as pregnancy disability leave, paid family leave, the California Family Rights Act and the Fair Employment Housing Act.
