DWC Hosts WC Education Conference Oct. 17-18

Registration is being accepted for the 2019 Oregon Workers’ Compensation Educational Conference, to be held Oct. 17-18, the Division of Workers' Compensation announced.

The conference will be in Portland at the Red Lion on the River in Jansen Beach, and will include sessions on the opioid crisis, pain management, marijuana and the workplace, concussions at work, rotator cuff injuries, total worker health and more.

The conference also will offer continuing education credits as well as basic workshops for those new to Oregon workers' compensation, and advanced workshops with updates for those more familiar with the system.
