The New Jersey Division of Workers' Compensation has dropped a plan to close its workers' compensation court in Lebanon, myCentralJersey.com reported Wednesday.
The news service reported that the New Jersey Advisory Council on Safety & Health and the New Jersey State Bar Association opposed the closure, saying it would inconvenience claimants who would have to travel to Middlesex or Morris County for hearings. The Lebanon court serves Warren, Hunterdon and Somerset counties.
