Caterino will work with the firm’s public entity clients and prospects to find broking solutions tailored to their unique risk and insurance needs, Willis Towers Watson said in a statement.

She comes to Willis Towers Watson from Mitchell International, where she worked as vice president of client services and pharmacy solutions.

Before Mitchell, Caterino was vice president of strategic solutions at ODG by MCG Health. She also worked as a risk manager for the State of Nevada.

Caterino will work out of Seattle.

“Karen’s experience, both as a former state government risk manager and workers' compensation executive, is extensive and will provide our clients with a consultative advocate who will drive our public entity center of excellence growth and best practices," said Alex Littlejohn, U.S. West region leader, corporate risk and broking. "Her approach in finding ways to provide innovative, transformational risk and insurance solutions that help mitigate what keeps our clients up at night aligns perfectly with our company’s risk management philosophy.”
