Injured workers’ spouses and dependent children would receive $20 per week under a workers’ compensation bill passed by the Utah State Senate on Monday.
The $20 per-week benefit would last as long as the injured worker receives wage-loss benefits.
Senate Bill 40, by Sen. Karen Mayne, D-Salt Lake City, would take effect July 1, 2018.
