Bill Would Bar Benefits for Undocumented Workers

A House Republican is attempting again to prevent illegal immigrants from receiving workers’ compensation benefits. Rep. Bill Seitz, R-Green Township, has introduced House Bill 380 to bar illegal aliens from collecting benefits if injured on the job or suing their employers for occupational injuries unless they can prove the employer knew they were not legal residents.
