Zenith Layoffs Won't Impact the Carrier's Sarasota Operations

Zenith National Insurance Corp.'s decision to lay off about 100 workers won't impact the workers' comp carrier's operations in Sarasota, Fla, Chairman/Chief Executive Officer Stanley Zax told the Sarasota Herald-Tribune.“It’s a very important part of our company,” Zax told the newspaper. “I doubt that anybody should have any worries about our Florida operation.”Zenith employs several hundred people in downtown Sarasota, the newspaper reported.
