Endurance Specialty: Dividend, Galen Barnes a Director

Endurance Specialty Holdings Ltd. (NYSE:ENH), a Bermuda-based provider of property and casualty insurance and reinsurance, yesterday announced that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly dividend of $0.21 per share payable on its ordinary shares, a 16.7% increase. The dividend will be payable on June 30, 2004 to the shareholders of record on June 16, 2004. Endurance Specialty also announced yesterday the appointment of Galen Barnes to its Board of Directors. Mr. Barnes was formerly President and Chief Operating Officer of Nationwide Mutual Insurance, where he worked from 1975 to 2003. ...
