Hartford Names Tom Johnston Chief P&C Actuary

The Hartford Financial Services Group (NYSE: HIG) yesterday announced that it has appointed Tom Johnston senior vice president and chief actuary for its property-casualty operations effective July 1. Johnston, currently the finance director for property-casualty claim, will assume leadership for all property-casualty actuarial operations.
