Calif. DWC Losing Voc Rehab Consultants

Six vocational rehabilitation consultants for the California Division of Workers' Compensation have or will soon retire, according to an industry observer. Adding to the attrition, DWC Rehabilitation Unit consultant Fred Avina of Bakersfield passed away in February, reports vocational rehabilitation specialist Allan Leno. Leno wrote in a monthly industry newsletter that Avina died of complications from a medical condition.
