Best Upgrades AMTrust Group to 'A-'

A.M. Best Co. has upgraded its rating of AmTrust Group (AG), which focuses on workers' compensation for smaller employers, to A- (Excellent) based on a quantitative and qualitative evaluation of the company's balance sheet strength, operating performance and business profile. The rating, with a stable outlook, applies to three AG companies: Technology Insurance Company, Rochdale Insurance Company and AmTrust International Insurance, LTD (Bermuda).
