Gerald M. Kennedy, a member of the California workers' compensation defense bar and a former statewide association president, died over the weekend, his law firm announced.
Kennedy, 69, died Saturday at his Sacramento home, according to a statement released by Hanna, Brophy, MacLean, McAleer & Jensen. Kennedy was a senior partner and executive committee member of the firm, where he worked 42 years.
He also was a former managing partner of Hanna & Brophy's Sacramento and Stockton offices, according to the Sacramento Bee.
