Florida's huge workers' compensation woes continue as the Governor's Commission on Workers' Compensation heard a loud protest last Wednesday by contractors who say the new law requiring all workers to be covered by workers' comp on commercial construction projects is threatening to drive them out of business. Many contractors called for the Legislature to immediately meet in special session and take action.
