An actuarial consultant estimated that reserves at the Florida Workers' Compensation Joint Underwriting Association (FWCJUA) climbed to $56.7 million as of the end of June.
The FWCJUA transitional board will hold its first meeting Friday by telephone conference call to review the Milliman firm's report on reserves and to finalize transition plans. The conference call is scheduled for 10 a.m. EST Friday. The board also plans to choose an actuary.
