The Court of Appeals on Friday published another opinion in a recent string of opinions
confirming the broad application of the exclusive remedy provisions of California Labor
Code 3602.
In Wright v. Beverly Fabrics, Inc.(01/17/02, No. F035445. Fifth Dist.) the Court, obviously
feeling sympathetic to the plaintiff/injured worker but feeling constrained by the law,
starts off with an ominous quote from playwright Clare Booth Luce: 'No good deed goes
