California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger at a news conference in Long Beach yesterday said he is willing to consider proposals that do not meet his earlier goal of $11 billion in savings because of the WCIRB's mistake in calculations.On Wednesday, the WCIRB issued a memo to lawmakers admitting that it had erroneously inflated system costs by $7 billion because it had assumed that self insured employers accounted for 30% of the coverage.
