Mandatory Comp May be Back on Agenda in Texas

AUSTIN, Texas -- Requiring Texas employers to carry workers' compensation insurance likely will return as an issue for the 2007 legislature, but stands less chance of approval than other workers' compensation issues that may be on the agenda, experts who spoke Wednesday during the Insurance Council of Texas's Workers' Compensation Conference said.
