Florida CFO Doles Out Rewards in Insurance Fraud Cases

Florida regulators say a tip from a co-worker led to the conviction of a building supply worker who claimed a job-related accident a day after he was involved in car wreck. The unidentified co-worker was among three people who collected a combined $2,500 from the state Department of Financial Services Fraud Fighters Reward Program, Chief Financial Officer Tom Gallagher said Tuesday.
