Coventry Reports Net Revenues of $135.5 M

Coventry Health Care Inc. on Friday reported net revenues of $135.5 million, or 84 cents per diluted share, for the second quarter of 2006. Operating revenues totaled $1.94 billion for the quarter, Coventry said. GAAP treatment for the Medicare Part D products results in a disproportionate loss early in the calendar year and a disproportionate gain later in the year, the company said.
