N. Dakota Man Gets Dueling Comp Fraud Charge

Myron Wittwer, of Bottineau, North Dakota, doing business as Mike's Handyman Services, has been charged with two felony fraud charges by the Bottineau County States Attorney's office. One charge is for filing a false statement and the other is for failing to secure workers' compensation coverage on his employees. The Special Investigations Unit (SIU) of the North Dakota Workers Compensation Bureau alleges Mr. Wittwer was working, receiving income, and operating a business, while receiving benefits because of a work related arm injury claim he filed in 1996.
