Jacobs Moving to AIG as Tax Director

Philip Jacobs will join American International Group in July as director of taxes, a position he also holds at GE Insurance Solutions. Jacobs, who succeeds the retiring Peter Lathrop, will report to Chief Financial Officer Steven Bensinger. Jacobs has held several positions of responsibility with GE, including global tax director for GE Insurance Solutions, Europe and Asia tax director at GE Insurance Solutions, and senior tax advisor at GE Capital Corp.
