Claims Handling Cuts Skanska Fine in Half

The Washington Department of Labor and Industries announced Tuesday that it has cut in half a $136,264 fine against Skanska USA Building Inc. because of the company's improved handling of workers' compensation claims. The final penalty is $68,272, the department said in a press release.
