UnumProvident Corp. Now Called Unum Group

UnumProvident Corp. officially changed its name to Unum Group, the Chattanooga, Tenn.-based disability and life insurer said Friday. Unum's insurance entities that market and sell its products are not changing. Those companies include Unum Life Insurance Co. of America, Provident Life and Accident Insurance Co., The Paul Revere Life Insurance Co., and Colonial Life & Accident Insurance Co.
