Poochigian Says WCIRB Numbers Simply Show Reform Needed

Senator Charles Poochigian (R-Fresno) issued the following press statement yesterday regarding the revision by WCIRB of industry loss numbers: The Workers' Compensation Insurance Rating Bureau (WCIRB) has adjusted the prior workers' compensation projected program costs downward for the next five years. The stated reason for the adjustment is that the WCIRB had overstated the market share for the self-insured market.
