Texas DWC Posts Four New Sets of Regs

The Texas Division of Workers' Compensation announced Friday it has posted four sets of proposed regulations on its Web site for initial public comment before the agency submits a formal proposal to begin the official rule making process. The regulations would govern peer review doctor requirements, electronic medical billing and reimbursement, treating doctor examination to define the compensable injury, and designated doctor/required medical examination.
