The Oregon Workers' Compensation Division has issued a reminder that insurers are responsible to pay claim costs under the deductible threshold for
large deductible policies, even when an employer becomes insolvent.
Regardless of the terms of the policy, insurers are responsible for all workers' compensation claims
costs of employers for whom the insurer has issued a guaranty contract. Employers must report all
