Japan May Allow Comp for Good Samaritans

Japan's labor ministry is taking steps to allow Good Samaritans who stopped to help injured passengers after a train derailment qualify for workers' compensation benefits for injuries or mental stress suffered at the crash site, a Japanese news service reported Thursday. Asashi.com said the April 25 crash of a rapid train in Amagaski, Japan, killed 107 people.
