PartnerRe Reports Record 3Q Results

PartnerRe Ltd. (NYSE: PRE) yesterday reported record results for the third quarter of 2003. PartnerRe President & Chief Executive Officer, Patrick Thiele, commented, "We had another exceptional quarter, with continued strong premium and book value growth, and an annualized operating return on equity of 21% for the quarter and 19% year-to-date. We are confident that based on the results to date in 2003, and barring any unusually large loss events in the fourth quarter, we will exceed the ambitious targets we set for ourselves in 2003."
