San Diego Doc Pleads Guilty to Fraud, Sentencing 4/22

Dr. James L. Stakely, 65, a San Diego, CA, doctor accused of workers' compensation fraud, will face an April 22 sentencing after pleading guilty yesterday to two counts of insurance fraud before Superior Court Judge Roger Krauel. Stakely, in practice for 35 years, could receive probation or as much as five years in prison, according to the San Diego District Attorneys office.
